Tropico 3 is the latest game in the Tropico series. It is produced by Haemimont Games and is published by Kalypso Media.
The time is yesterday and the Cold War is in full swing. Through means devious and dubious you have seized power in the Caribbean island country of Tropico, where you now rule as the all-powerful "El Presidente". You decide whether you want to use your army to secure your power base in the best traditions of corrupt, unscrupulous tyrants everywhere or lead your people to prosperity in your role as generous elder statesman.

Control
- There are four speeds in Tropico 3
1.Pause-Allows time to construct and upgrade buildings, or look at what the people are doing and have to say.
- Note: Game auttomatically pause when you Open the Construction Panel, the Almanac, or the Issue an Edict Panal
2.Play Mode-Normal slower speed of the game that allowss the player to slowly investigate their finaces, people in action, or just to enjoy the AI of the game.
3.Fast Forward x2-Better and more casual speed of the game.
4.Fast Forward x3-Fastest speed in the game best used when your economy is sequered and your citizens are somewhat happy.
