The Mausoleum is a landmark building in Tropico 4. It is a large, opulent building that is intended to serve as the future resting place of the presidente. For now, it serves as a museum dedicated to the presidente, all the earnings of which go to the presidente's Swiss bank account.

Because of how linked the mausoleum is to the idea of honoring the presidente, rebels will always choose to attack it instead of anything else.

All tourist types visit the mausoleum.

• Booby Traps: For $25,000, a series of explosives can be covertly planted throughout the mausoleum. The next time the rebels invade the mausoleum to destroy it, it will self-destruct with them inside, wiping them out.
