Luxury Houses are housing buildings in Tropico 1. They are arguably the best housing available, with a base housing quality rating of 95. Like most other houses, they can only hold one family (2 people, plus children).
The downside of the luxury house is that it is unquestionably the most expensive of all houses, costing $2000 and requiring 2MW of electricity.
Work Modes[]
- Normal Maintenance: Maintains the building as best as possible.
- Roach Patrol: Allows the building to fall into a state of disrepair, reducing the housing quality by 1/3rd and the yearly upkeep to $100.
