Grade Schools are education buildings in Tropico 4. Although grade school educations don't open any new work opportunities for Tropicans, children who are educated in a grade school will, upon becoming adults at age 13, gain a boost in intelligence. This extra intelligence will allow them to learn their jobs more efficiently and potentially let them move on to further education.
Work Modes[]
- Field Trips: Students are given frequent trips to watch adults at work, which gives each child a skill in a random profession when they graduate.
- Youth Organization: Some students may join the presidente's youth club, becoming Loyalists early in life.
- Spelling Bee Contests: Some students may partake in literacy-based contests, boosting their intelligence even more than usual when they graduate.
- Obedience Training: Students are drilled in conformity and obedience, potentially reducing their courage when they graduate and making them less fit to become rebels.
