Goods (Tropico 6)

Goods in Tropico 6, like in previous titles, are items consumed by citizens, exported for income, or processed into other goods. They are produced by various buildings and hauled between sites by teamsters.

All goods except Manure can be traded for money via trade routes or normal export. Processing uses will be listed with buildings that consume them. Additionally, some categories of goods can be consumed/purchased by citizens. Those categories are:

• Food - can be consumed at the production building (unless Allow Local Consumption is unchecked or No Free Meals edicts is active), purchased at a Grocery or Shopping Mall, or delivered via Drone to Home Delivery.
• Consumer goods – can be purchased at a Grocery or Shopping Mall
• Luxury goods – can be purchased at a Shopping Mall with the Luxury Outlets upgrade

Raw Goods

Raw goods are extracted from natural resources on the map, largely using Buildings from the Food and Resources category. All raw goods can be Looted on a Pirate Cove raid in groups of three:

• Bananas, Hides, Iron
• Coconuts, Sugar, Wool
• Coffee, Corn, Gold
• Coal, Logs, Pineapple
• Cotton, Meat, Oil (World Wars only)
• Fish, Nickel, Tobacco (World Wars onwards)
• Aluminium, Cocoa, Shellfish (Cold War onwards)
• Milk, Rubber, Uranium (Cold War onwards)
