For buildings of the same name in other Tropico games, see Furniture Factory.
Furniture factories are industrial buildings in Tropico 3 and Tropico 4. Workers here take planks of Lumber and fashion them into chairs, beds, and other forms of Furniture for export. The export of furniture is a very profitable business, but requires a lot of workers, most of them educated. In Tropico 4, lumber can be imported and only the building will be required, instead of the logging camp and the lumber mill.
