Bunkhouses are housing buildings in Tropico 1. Their quality is considerably better than shacks, being on par with poorly maintained tenements. They can turn a small profit at a rent of $1 if fully occupied by 2 families and have the same footprint of 2 shacks.
Work Modes[]
- Normal Maintenance: Maintains the building as best as possible.
- Roach Patrol: Allows the building to fall into a state of disrepair, reducing the housing quality by 1/3rd and the yearly upkeep to $7.
