Changes: Elite Infantry

Elite Infantry is a type of military squad in Tropico 5. They are garrisoned in the Palace during the Colonial Era, by default. The Elite Infantry can be replaced by Commandos during the World Wars Era, with the "Personal Death Squad" Palace building upgrade.

The Elite Infantry will take part in the defense of the island during invasions, rebellions and riots. Their effectiveness can be increased with the Right To Arms and Military Drills edicts.

Physical appearance

The Elite infantry wears the following military attire:

Leather hat (black, 3-pointed)
Coat (black)
Vest (white)
Trousers (white)
White stockings
Leather boots
Musket
Ammunition pouch (x2)
