The blimp ride is an attraction building in Tropico 4. The ride allows slob tourists and their children to fly above the island in a blimp. In addition, blimps can be used for advertising or for propaganda. The large building seems to be some sort of maintenance hangar for the blimp, and presumably a ticket booth for those wishing to get a ride on it.
- Not Bad Year: The blimp is used as a giant, floating billboard, allowing the ride to generate extra money from advertising rights.
- Electric Eye: The blimp is used to intimidate the citizens with its ever-watchful presence, preventing any protests from breaking out while it's around.
- Presidential Presence: The blimp is used as a propaganda machine for the presidente, making all buildings it passes by receive bonuses as if the presidente had visited them. This is easily the best work mode for the blimp ride because any building that can receive presidente bonuses has its service quality or production significantly improved, and the blimp ride can improve several buildings at once. To help maximize the effects of this, group buildings that can be improved by presidential visits close together.
