The balloon ride is an attraction building in Absolute Power and Tropico 4. The ride allows slob tourists and their children to fly above the island in a hot air balloon. In addition, the balloons can be upgraded into a tool of propaganda to further support for the presidente. The actual building proper seems to mostly consist of a ticket booth for the balloon itself.

- Hola-Cola Balloon: For $2,500, the Hola-Cola company will sponsor the balloons, completely negating the upkeep of the ride. This upgrade pays for itself after 3 years and 4 months, so its a good investment if you want to have the balloon ride for a long time.
- Propaganda Balloon: For $5,000, the balloons will be used to help spread propaganda, giving them a small chance to convert nearby citizens into Loyalists.
- Tourist Balloon: For $1,000, the occupancy of the balloons can be doubled.
