Dr. Abraham Zweistein is a main character in Tropico 5's Main Campaign. He is mentioned in Tropico 6's Caribbean Skies and Festivals expansions.
Tropico 5[]
He first appears in the third mission, Get Zweistein, where Leon Kane informs El Presidente he is essential to the Order's plan to develop a super weapon to end all war. However, Zweistein had fled Germany for Switzerland to prevent the Axis from forcing him to develop the super weapon for them. Kane informs Presidente that Switzerland is willing to sell Zweistein to the highest bidder, but it would be cheaper to buy the entire country instead. When El Presidente raises the needed sum, Zweistein congratulates them, and starts work on the weapon.
He stays with you until the mission Day Zero where he sends you back in time to kill Leon Kane before he destroys the world.
Tropico 6[]
In the first mission of Caribbean Skies, Penultimo discovers Zweistein's time machine in the Palace basement, though states he doesn't know who the doctor is. Penultimo attaches the machine to El Presidente's limo, and thanks to it they are able to escape to the Colonial Era when a giant meteor destroys Tropico in Modern Times. Zweistein's time machine is used again in the Festivals expansion.

- His appearance is based on Albert Einstein. His surname is also a play on Einstein's - which means 'one stone' in German; Zweistein means 'two stone'.
- He was the first character introduced in Tropico 5 to be referenced in Tropico 6.
