Base Job Quality

Le Ministère est un bâtiment dans Tropico 4. Il sert de lieu de réunion pour le gouvernement de l'île et où se trouve les bureaux des ministères se situent.

Minister RequirementsModifier

There are five different ministries that you can assign a citizen to be the minister of. In order to qualify for being a minister, a person needs to have 16% skill in a profession related to the ministry position.

Ministry position Professional experience required
Ministre de l'économie Banker, shopkeeper, journalist, or customs officer
Ministre de l'éducation Teacher or professor
Ministre des Affaires Étrangères Bureaucrat or journalist
Ministre de l'Intérieur Policeman, SWAT member, or secret agent
Ministre de la Défense Soldat ou Général

Once a ministry slot has been filled, you can use edicts that fall under that ministry. For example, to issue the Amnesty edict, you need a Defense minister. In addition, certain buildings will require you to have a minister, such as an economic minister to build airports and the stock exchange.

Événements AléatoiresModifier

In addition to unlocking edicts and buildings, ministers will occasionally have random events. These can be good or bad, depending on the stats of the minister (Intelligence, Courage, and Leadership), all three of which should be as high as possible.

Ministers with poor stats will occasionally cause gaffes. These require you to either fire the minister and look for a replacement or suffer some kind of consequence, such as reduced foreign relations or a rebel attack.

Mode de TravailModifier

  • Council of Ministers: A democratic council that inspires people to try and become ministers, improving everyone's rate of experience by 10% to 30%.
  • People's Committee: A communist ministry that encourages people to support the regime and vote for you.
  • Junta: A militarist ministry that discourages angry people from becoming rebels.

Sunny Flowers: Serious fracas in front of the Ministry building. According to early reports a fight has started between the minister-wannabes.

Penultimo: Judging by the number of applications we received, this means that Tropico is officially in a state of civil war.
